Simon Walker (simonnwalker@androidspin.com)
Site Owner / Site Architect / Release DB Developer
I was an IT consultant for almost 20 years and have been involved with some form of technology from my teenage years (a long time ago). I’m also an avid Home Theater geek and self appointed installer for all of my friends and relatives. I first started seriously playing with SmartPhones with the advent of the T-Mobile WING and since migrated to the T-Mobile G1 and now the Google Nexus One. I live and breath this stuff and love every minute of it! Oh, and did I mention Motorcycles! Been riding since I was 8 years old from sports to racers to Harley’s. Love em

I’m a technology enthusiast, and I love to spend my time designing and developing. I have been into web design for about 5 years now. I started my smart phone venture with the g1, and since then it has grown into a passion. I currently rock a Nexus One from Google. I love to work hard and play hard. Live life to the fullest, as you only have one of them.

I’m just a really geeky girl. I love movies, reading, music and Android. Oh, and gadgets; I really want a Chef Stacker (it makes lots of pancakes).
My love for technology spurred from being too independent and stubborn to ask for help so I always fixed everything on my own. Computers, VCRs (yeah, I still have all of my VHS, so? ;P), DVD players, etc…
My love for Android began with the demise of my relationship with WinMo. I owned a Shadow before my G1, ’nuff said. I absolutely love everything about Android. I have control issues and it completely enables me. I have a G1 and a Nexus One (thank you) and I love them both equally.

Hi I’m Ray, I’m currently in school as a Biology/Pre-medical major, though science isn’t my only love. I happen to be a huge technology head, or as most people call it “geek”. I spent the early years into computers, starting with building an awesome gaming computer. Computers turned into phones and technology in general.
I started my smartphone life with the G1, which was ordered as soon as pre-order chances went up. My serious interest with phones started with an old Nextel i60 (yeah yeah I know), which upgraded along the Nextel line and right before the G1 was the T-Mobile sidekick line. I currently own a Nexus One, ordered as soon as the website went up.
I am very passionate about technology, and I’m happy to be part of the AndroidSPIN team.

Writer
Jason is a G1 owner, and a technology-geek, and has an interest in running experimental products (such as experimental Cyanogen builds), which has lead to one Brick with his phone already. Jason lives in South Wales, United Kingdom, and studies Computing at College, hoping one day to be able to program software for the Android OS, and eventually cook his own ROM.

I’ve always been attracted to the quirky ones. My first smartphone was a Sierra Voq, and even then I was trying to figure out ways to customize it to fit my needs. Though my day job takes me away from the tech world, much of my free time is spend being a gadget geek. I’m an Android Fan girl, and I’ve made it my goal to convert as many as possible to the green guy. Yeah, you can say I’m Android obsessed. I’m the proud owner of a G1, and I’m excited to see where the future of Android goes. In the meantime, you’ll find me here writing about Android and enjoying my view of the great white north.
