Google Nexus One: The Future of Multi-Touch Officially Defined
Since the release of the T-Mobile G1 the Android community has been waiting and waiting for the release of multi-touch on the Android devices. It now appears that the future of Multi-touch or pinch and zoom has been defined with the release of the latest OTA update for the Google Nexus One called ERE27. It's only been a couple of weeks since Chris Soyar's decided it was time to try and get the community together and work on a community ROM. The first goal of this team is to create the best Eclair ROM available. The outcome was OpenEclair and the OpenAndroidTeam and it hasn't stopped since. I'm hoping that I had something to do with this de-fragmentation of the developer communityand I'm working closely with the team to help get organizaed and continue this team spirit into future projects.
