According to a reliable source at Berryscoop, the HTC Incredible will be replacing the HTC Droid Eris at Verizon Wireless. The Droid Eris will be discontinued from April 1st and the HTC Incredible will be released on Verizon Wireless on the same day. Berryscoop also said that Verizon is viewing the Incredible as their version of the Nexus One. Are you kidding me? It's not confirm yet so don't take it seriously. Thanks to tipsters Trevin and TheDudesAndroid, it has come to our attention that XDA user RiverRunner, an unknown HTC worker from China has released a Droid Eris dump that's running the latest version of Android. A couple users have thrown together a makeshift ROM from the dump image. As always it looks like normal Sense with the latest features, such as the pinch-to-zoom homescreen feature. Verizon and Skype partner for VoIP service on Blackberry and Android .

During the Mobile World Congress, Skype and Verizon officially announced that they will bring VoIP service to BlackBerry and Android phones. Both giants will work together on this. That's really a great news. The International call rates are way cheaper than the currently charged by carriers. The VoIP service will be available over WiFi and 3G. Starting in March.
