Not all current generation phones will be able to use Flash 10.1 for Android once it is released in the next few months, but we had a suspicion that would be the case. Though Flash has been seen working as a prototype on the G1 and had some support on the Hero, an Adobe forums post reveals that not all Android phone models will be supported. In response to a question about Adobe’s roadmap, an Adobe employee stated that Flash would begin appearing on Android phones “mid-year.” That employee also dropped this bombshell: “The HTC Hero will not be supported [because] it does not have ...

Sunday, February 28th, 2010HTC Sense UI Now With More Pinch-To-Zoom, Video Included
Wednesday, February 10th, 2010

These six handsets were forced into a battle of display quality by the guys over at AndroidHD. And I have to agree with Engadget, the very appropriately named Nexus One looks like the #1 to me. It's got that 3.7-inch AMOLED display and 800 x 480 pixel resolution and it's kicking ass and taking names. Engadget is also right when they say the N1 display ...
HTC has 2.1 for the Hero
Tuesday, January 26th, 2010
...But, you may have to wait... The good news? According to the official forums for Irish mobile provider Meteor, HTC has an update to the Hero Android OS. They state that this would bring the device up to Android 2.1. The bad news? It is up to a couple months away, dropping at the end of March. Let's hope another carrier (cough... cough... Sprint!) can get the update sooner so all you Hero users can munch on some Eclair... From the Meteor man: Just got another update on this and HTC have said they are releasing 2.1 on the Hero and we are hoping to have ...
