Enomther has released another update to his TheOfficial series.  The expansion packs have been improved once again taking them to version v2.3.1.1.  The biggest bonus to these latest updates is a major speed improvement that should keep everyone happy for some time to come.Many of the themes have also been updated to support the new release, the sones that havent been completed yet will be done in the next few days. Cyanogen has just released his latest build (4.2.6). So far there hasn't been a 2.0 rom that has working/fully functional sync, but thanks to some android users, there is now a work around. The second Android Developer Challenge has closed, with the winners being announced Monday, November, 30th. Some winners from the first ADC include: Locale, cab4me, PicSay and TuneWiki (just to name a few). The ADC was created to motivate quality android development. Winners of the ADC 2 will receive cash prizes, as well as the recognition of creating a  first-class android application.

Eugene373 has just released his version 1.7. Some are stating this might be as fast as cyanogen's builds. It looks like the Android developers are starting to head in the right direction. A new Hero rom has surfaced. The rom had some stumbling blocks in the beginning, but it appears to be up and running on several android user's phones. Great news for everyone  ... A new ROM for the HTC Hero has been released and is currently in the hands of some of the developers out there.  KingKlick has been tweeting about it and already has a version running on his own phone.  He's been sending tweets from the phone so it's obviously working.The other surprising news is that the ROM is apparently Android 2.1 and based on SDK Rel. 6. Eugene373 Android 2.0 (Eclair) now up and running on my phone.  So far it looking real nice and seems pretty responsive.  Im gonna leave it running on my phone for a couple of days and see what it's like.  I will be carrying my good old faithful Enomther Nandroid backup with me... :)I've taken some screen shots to add to the release database so you can check out the look of this ROM.
