HTC has released the source code for the HTC Hero Kernel.  Some people have been excited by this, some people not.  Im in the middle.  I know the Kernel source code has been available before but from my understanding, it was never complete.I'm not sure if this will make any difference to the Hero ROMs that are around as there is now a new Kernel in the sapphire sense UI release.  That's the kernel the developers need.Anyway, if you want to download the source code you can head over to http://developer.htc.com/
